10-11 a.m. – Van Mansheim – Bale Grazing
Van Mansheim is from Colome, SD, and he is a SD Soil Health Coalition Board Member. He has been no-till since 2010, winter grazing cover crops since 2014, planting green since 2017, using a roller crimper since 2019, twice over rotational grazing since 2019, and bale grazing since 2020.
11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – David Brandt – Growing Healthy Soils
David Brandt is from Carroll, Ohio. He is known as the Godfather of Regenerative Agriculture. He has been no-till since 1971 and has been planting cover crops since 1978.
12:30-1:15 p.m. – Lunch and Exhibitor Booth Expo
1:15-3:15 p.m. – David Brandt – Growing Healthy Soils
3:15-4 p.m. – Dennis and Traci Clemens – No-till Gardening
Dennis and Traci Clemens switched to no-till in their garden in 2018. They will share how they transitioned to no-till, and how their soils and garden have improved in the last 4 years.
Admission is FREE for current SD Soil Health Coalition members and $25 for non-members (includes 2023 membership).
