In the Southeastern U.S., data on potential cover crops are lacking compared to other regions and the information available pertains to warm-season cover crop species used for forage or grain/seed production. The Objective of this study was to assemble a wide range of commercially available sources of warm-season grasses with potential for use as cover crops in Florida, and to collect information on survival, phenology, and productivity from evaluations at the USDA-NRCS Brooksville Plant Materials Center.
