Cover Crop ‘Til You Drop Field Day

Join the OSU Extension Water Quality Team for their second annual conservation-focused field day! This year’s topic is all about cover crops and their benefits to soil health, water quality, and farm economics. Speakers from The Ohio State University and Michigan State University will share research and information at this field day sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and Cargill. An optional wetland tour will follow the close of the field day.
This field day will be held at Duling Family Farms, 13079 Rd 10L, Ottawa, OH 45875
Agenda for the Day
Topics to be covered include:
– Cover crops and economics
– Cover crop research results from Ohio and Michigan
– Soil health and water quality impacts from cover crops
– Programs from The Nature Conservancy and Cargill
This event’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Manbir Rakkar, Associate professor and state specialist for Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management at The Ohio State University.
