Green Cover is excited to begin registration for one of our biggest events of the year, the Soil Health Field Days! Join us for this free event, held at our headquarters in Bladen, Nebraska, for a day full of learning and networking. Choose to attend one (or both) of two identical sessions, held on August 6th and 9th. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:00 and the event will conclude shortly after lunch.
The event will kick off with tours in our summer planted cover crop test plots featuring a wide variety of grasses, legumes, brassicas, broadleaves and diverse mixes. We will also be showcasing our second year of corn interseeding test plots and our first year of non-GMO corn test plots. A demonstration around extending the corn and bean rotation will take place in the field before heading to lunch at the Webster County Fairgrounds. Following a lunch prepared with local ingredients, we’ll host a discussion session around cover crop management and best practices.
This is a free event, open to the public with lunch provided by Green Cover.
