Improving Soil Health Workshop

December 11 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm UTC-7

Welcome to Farming with Biology!

Come join us in Tribune, KS for an exciting event where we explore the fascinating world of farming through the lens of biology. Jay Young and Tyler Johnson will lead the day discussing their firsthand experiences implementing compost extracts to improve soil health and profitability! Their topics will cover economics, applications, tools, and their own journey through this time.

Tyler will also share his experience working with local farmers as he helps provide them with the products and tools needed to begin their journey. This will be a great topic as many times the hardest part is just getting started!

Jay will cover more extensively rotational grazing, making compost and compost extracts as well as thinking outside the box to increase revenue.

There will also be a farmer panel to round out the day. A.J. Crotinger, Eric Lobmeyer and Jerry Young will discuss the challenged they have faced with weed management and some of the tactics they have used to combat those stubborn weeds.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and discover innovative ways to enhance your farming techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned farmer or just starting out, there’s something for everyone at Farming with Biology!

Join us in person for a day filled with knowledge, networking, and inspiration. See you there!
