Come learn from Rick Scranton owner of Grizzley Ridge.  He will cover various helpful tips on manure and nutrient management.

Learn:

• to use manure/litter to its fullest potential
• the benefits of Cover crops to keep soil AND nutrients in place
• what goes into a good nutrient plan in (NMP)
• the value of regular soil tests
• the interaction of Zinc, Phosphorous, and Manganese

In addition, learn about 319 grant money available to local producers and NRCS programs that can benefit your farm operation.

Doors will open at 9:30 at the Greene County Events Center.  The workshop will start at 10:am (ET) and conclude before 1:00.
