Save the Date for the Hoosier Chapter of SWCS’s Annual Meeting on November 12th, 2026 from 10:00 – 3:00 (CT) pm, in Morocco, IN, home of the Kankakee Sands!

This year’s annual meeting will feature key speakers on wildlife habitat protection and management.

Matt Williams, Conservation Director and the Bird Program Lead from the Sam Shine Foundation, will be discussing the Cerulean Warbler habitat work with American Bird Conservancy. Jeremy Kranowitz, President and CEO of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful’s Urban &Wildlife Work, will be discussing their different tree and habitat programs. Trevor Edmonson, The Nature Conservancy, will be discussing how they manage their prairies at Kankakee Sands with Bison.

We will also have a tour at the end of the meeting at Kankakee Sands for all attendees, as well as seeing the MOTUStower!

Lunch will be provided for attendees, and registration will be required. Keep an eye out for more details regarding registration!
