Russ Rice has worked as a crop consultant for 29 years in the Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan area with Nutrien Ag Solutions. As a crop consultant, he has had the opportunity to implement and develop cropping plans with cover crops. His focus in this lunch and learn will be to discuss how to help a farming operation use and be successful adding cover crops to current farming practices. He will give ideas on how to develop a consistent plan to help improve soil health and sustainable farming.
