Farm Tour: Bee Cover Crops

May 20 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm UTC-4

Bee Cover Crops

AG Futures Cleveland Farm Tours offer an opportunity to see a working farm in action. Each tour will explore a particular theme and hosts will answer any relevant questions you might have about that growing practice. Expect to walk around the farm, see what’s growing and view the infrastructure and tools utilized in operating a successful urban farm. Tours are FREE and open to everyone!

Join us for a tour of Village Family Farms, a vibrant urban farm in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood and discover how cover crops support honey bees and pollinators! Learn how plants like clover and buckwheat provide nectar, improve soil health, and enhance biodiversity. See sustainable farming in action while exploring ways to create pollinator friendly spaces in any environment.

**This event is outdoors on a working farm where you will be surrounded by nature. Ground and terrain may be uneven on the farm. We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.**

This workshop will take place rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you 24-36 hours prior to the event if we need to cancel.

USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer, and lender.
