Soil Health Workshop Series: Bed Preparation for Summer Crops

May 17 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm UTC-4

Bed Preparation for Summer Crops

Soil is the lifeblood of the farm. Healthy soils support plant growth, cycle nutrients, retain moisture, and support a complex web of microorganisms that help plants thrive. Each session in this three part series this spring will focus on different key elements of healthy soils on an urban farm. Participants will gain key insights on how to build their soils for agricultural success.

Join us at Ka-La Healing Garden Center and learn more about getting your growing spaces ready for the summer growing season.

**This event is outdoors on a working farm where you will be surrounded by nature. Ground and terrain may be uneven on the farm. We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.**

This workshop will take place rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you 24-36 hours prior to the event if we need to cancel.
