Saving your own seeds is a great way to save money, preserve genetic diversity, adapt a crop to your local environment, and even develop your own varieties. Dean Gunderson, Chief Programs Officer here at Seed St. Louis, will cover the easiest crops to save seeds, the basics of saving seeds, and the basics of selecting your own varieties.
This class will be located at the Bell Community Garden (3841 Bell Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108) in their pavilion. Be sure to purchase summer seedlings at our Carriage House (3815 Bell Ave., 63108) during our plant sale from 9:00 to 11:00 am and then come down the street for this class!
